A little project...

So I started working on this table a few months ago and finally finished it last night!  I got the chairs done weeks ago because I could move them outside myself, but when it came to the table I'd have to wait for Jon to move it outside.  Every time I thought to start working on it, Jon would be at work and when he'd get home I would be busy doing other things and completely forget to ask him! 

The only complaint I have of this table is that there are some places I didn't put enough clear finish on it so I get red paint marks on my kitchen floor and walls.  I'm not worried about the table marking up the walls because of the clear cover I have on it as a tablecloth!  I love the red color, but I do wish I could paint the whole top, too.  I've never been a big fan of the tile top, but it was a free table so I can't complain!

Trip to the Zoo!

We thought this year would be a great year to take Isaac to the zoo.  We had a great time and Isaac loved seeing the animals up close instead of in his books!  Jon had never been to the zoo either so it was fun for him to experience it, too.  I had to take the picture of the gorilla because he just looked funny laying there completely still for atleast 5 or 10 minutes.  I'm sorry there isn't much to say, but that's why I got pictures!
