What a weekend! Jon and I had our anniversary on Thursday, but decided to make a weekend of it. Friday morning we drove down to check in to the cutest little studio cabin up Big Cottonwood canyon owned by our former bishop. Once we got familiar with the area, we headed back down, got some lunch and then went swimming in Sugarhouse. That part was mostly for Isaac, we had a good time. My mom met us at the pool and picked up Isaac to take him home so Jon and I could go on a real date. We went downtown to eat at PF Chang China Bistro. We'd never been there and always wanted to try it. It is so good! I thought it was going to be really expensive, but it wasn't! Then we headed over to Gateway to see Pirates 4. We picked up Isaac and drove back up to the cabin. The cabin sits on a beautiful property right in Storm Mountain. We wanted to walk around in the morning, but decided to grab some breakfast and head back home.
It was a very busy and tiring weekend, but well worth it. It helps me to always remember how much I love spending time with Jon and you can still keep the relationship you want with your spouse even after having children. Thanks for the best 6 years Jon! Love you.
